Liberal Arts Bulk Purchasing Program
Liberal Arts Instructional Technology Services (Liberal Arts ITS) periodically purchases large quantities of computer and multimedia equipment for departments and colleges throughout the University. By coordinating campus-wide efforts, Liberal Arts ITS can take full advantage of bulk pricing and realize significant savings for participating departments and colleges. As a result, state-of-the-art technology can be obtained for University classrooms at a much lower cost than would be the case if departments/colleges purchased equipment individually.

Bulk purchase savings often exceed 10% and can be as high 30-40%
Bulk purchases at times can include free, additional warranties and manufacturer support
Liberal Arts ITS charges a 3% service fee

Anticipated Bulk Purchases
Liberal Arts ITS generally conducts the following bulk purchases each year:
January / February        multimedia equipment, including: data projectors, document cameras, video switches, control systems, cabling, and other components
March   Apple and Dell Computers and Equipment
June   Apple and Dell Computers and Equipment
(Note: Deadlines may change as circumstances demand.)

Please contact Steven Miller for details.

Other bulk purchases may be conducted at the discretion of Liberal Arts ITS. Please contact Steven Miller if you have ideas for additional bulk purchases, as all suggestions are considered.
