Our goal: The purpose of this site is to present three famous corridos titled “La toma de Torreón”, “La toma de Zacatecas” and “La toma de Guadalajara”. These corridos highlight three great battles of the Division of the North during the Mexican revolution beginning in 1910 and concluding in 1920. General Francisco ‘Pancho’ Villa and General Felipe Ángeles, with his artillery division, lead the Division of the North to victory on the battlefield. The map located on this page depicts the three battles that emerged from the conflict between the Huerta regime and the constitutionalists.
