Analysis of "Los Tequileros"

As you can see this corrido is in a story form. In the first stanza it sets the date and also tells the event that the corrido is going to be about. In the third and fourth stanza there is dialogue. This dialogue is between to "tequileros" and how they question themselves about what there doing. In the last stanza there is a "despedida," which is common corridos. This is where the singer dismisses himself.

Tequileros were not considered to be bad. Instead they were thought to be good people. People were okay with Tequileros because people thought to be doing a good thing.
