Here is a list of additional corridos that deal with the experiences the
Mexican laborers
in Texas faced during the 1940s and 1960s. These corridos are examples of
the phase
of disillusionment within the corrido's evolution from "heroic" to
"victim". The migrant laborer now sees the discrimination around him and
sings these corridos
to cope with his disheartening and unfortunate experiences.
