Normally we put food in the Environment category, but in this case, Shui Zhu Yu is a fish dish where the fish is "swimming" in oil and peppercorns. Really tasty, but not something you could eat on a daily basis.
hao xian!
I found it interesting that the Chinese seem to eat mainly Chinese food for three meals per day. There were a small amount of restaurants featuring different cuisines but they were not prevalent. In the US, I eat a wide variety of Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Greek etc. food but this same variety did not seem to exist in China. I did like the authentic Chinese food but I will say that my McDonald's hamburger tasted delicious on day four!
