Episode 12: Pronouns – Just look at yourself

Filed under: Podcasts — @ 11:37 am

In Episode 12, Just look at yourself, we continue our study of pronouns with reflexive pronouns, which are used with verbs where the action is reflected back onto the subject. We will also talk about the interesting metamorphoses that take place when two pronouns occur with one verb.

Two esteemed pronoun experts will be joining us, Dottor Ballanzone, of course, and Dr. Prunella Pronominetti from the Grammar Abuse Society! Let’s listen!

  1. Hi – just wanted to say thanks for an excellent series of podcasts. There seems to be a huge amount of material for people who are starting to learn Italian, but very little for those who have passed the basic level. Your podcasts do this excellently – many thanks. How many episodes do you think you will be broadcasting?

  2. Buona sera Chris,
    Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words. We did indeed feel the need to cover material at the intermediate level and are happy that our podcasts are useful to you.
    We are working on a special podcast that will be on-line before the upcoming holidays;
    new podcasts (six/seven more?) will follow.
    Grazie mille e a risentirci…
    Cordiali saluti,
    Antonella

  3. Ciao a tutti
    I would like to echo Chris’ comments: that it is harder to find online, and in bookstores too, material suitable for the intermediate learner of Italian. You are filling a real gap. Thank you!
