Be careful with these signs! The B-handshape is used only for possessive pronouns. The grammar of English sets you up to make errors in ASL. Why? The English pronoun her has two distinct usages: 1) as a possessive pronoun, as in "Her car is red."; and 2) as a direct object pronoun, as in "He saw her at school." Only the first usage is translated into ASL with a B-hand, possessive pronoun. For the second usage, the correct translation would be a simple pointing sign using an extended index finger.
