data gathered by:Travis Smith email: smith@nssl.noaa.gov

These images were captured from NSSL's Warning Decision Support System running on the KTLX (Twin Lakes) radar.  All times include a "broad view", with 0.5 degree reflectivity and storm-relative radial velocity shown (earlier images may have base velocity instead).  These images are of the storm that eventually hit the south OKC metro area.

Some Notes:
  1. All units are in metric.  The Azimuth and Range to the center of the image are typically given in the lower right-hand corner of most images.
  2. "8-panel" images show reflectivity and velocity at various heights through the storm (or tornado).  Height of the center of each image is given in the lower right corner.
  3. "x-section" images are vertical cross sections, usually shown with a (quasi-)horizontal ref/vel image that contains the line along which the cross-section was taken.  All of these images are either cross-radial or along a radial.
  4. Satellite imagery, within this timeline, is indented.
  5. Look at the 8-panel images if you want to see the "raw data" without the algorithm output covering it up
