Cybercorp is an Austin based on-line trading company. Of the 110 or so trading rooms across the country where brokers gather to deal stock, half employ Cybercorp Technology.  CyberCorp has introduced a new style of on-line trading.  Today's Internet trading websites use a style similar to e-mail.   An investor enters his order, and a broker enters the order.   CyberCorp uses a style like an immediate execution of trades.  It is all on the computer like what a broker uses with its clearing house.  No broker is involved.
 

E*Trade technology was first introduced in 1982 by Bill Porter, and physicist and inventor.  Early on, E*TRADE provide online quote and trading services to Fidelity, Charles Schwab, and Quick & Reilly.  In 1992, E*TRADE Securities, Inc. was founded, then in 1996, etrade.com was launched, revolutionizing the way investors trade.  E*TRADE is based out of Palo Alto, California.  The site offers many benefits, such as 24 hour, 7 day a week access to features including portfolio tracking, free real-time quotes and market news, and research.  E*TRADE offers trades at rates as low as $14.95.
