２００４年の秋テキサス大学から卒業して以来、ＪＥＴとして福岡県のあしやとうい町でずっと働いてきました。日本に来てから日本語能力試験１級を目指して、やっと今年合格できました（ぎりぎりとういところなんだけど）。そこで、あいだ先生とテキサス大学の他の日本語教師方に礼をしたいと思います。みんなさんの元気な教え方のおかげで私はここまで諦めず漕ぎついてきた気がしています。本当にありがとうござました。
今のところでは、もう一年間ＪＥＴとしてやろうと思います。そして、日本の大学院で国際協力政策を研究したいと思います。もし、ＪＥＴＰＲＯＧＲＡＭに関しての質問とかがあれば、是非私の方に連絡してください。ＪＥＴについて実践的な経験もあるし、今福岡県のＡＬＴ指導者として働いてますので、いろいろな質問に対して適度に対応できる自信を持ってます。
I graduated from UT in the fall of 2004 and have been working in the Fukuoka
Prefecture in a town called Ashiya ever since as part of the JET program.
After arriving in Japan I made it a personal goal to pass the level one profiency
exam and after a year and a half managed to finally pass (though barely). Having passed, I wanted to thank all Aida-senseiand all of my old teachers who' s enthusiastic attitudes were probably a reason I continued my studies up to this point. So as of now I'm looking
at continuing my job on the JET program for another year and then hopefully
attending grad school on Japan in International Cooperative Policy.

I work as a Prefectural Municipal ALT Administrator so I have kind of learned the ins and outs of the job and can give you a fairly realistic assessment of what you might expect if you join JET.
