Live annotation of maps with Dr. Jeremi Suri

Looking for new ways to harness technology in his teaching, Dr. Jeremi Suri and the Dev Studio partnered in 2015 to launch his first live online course. Suri immediately leveraged the studio’s capabilities and identified what would become a crucial part of his instruction – the ability to annotate historical maps live for students using a green screen and digital stylus.

Jeremi Suri holds the Mack Brown Distinguished Chair for Leadership in Global Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. He is a professor in the University’s Department of History and the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs. Professor Suri is the author and editor of nine books on contemporary politics and foreign policy. His most recent book is The Impossible Presidency: The Rise and Fall of America’s Highest Office.
